I just read the latest Newsletter from the Digital Cinema Society:

Apparently, they did a secret test shoot of RED over a YEAR AGO!!!!

This is Fascinating!!! Maybe they are a lot further along than we all think?

I think I just wet my pants... Gotta go!
 
Well, their logo does say "Est. 1999". So I'd expect them to have done some testing before this year!
 
Yeah when I saw EST: 1999 it was like I'd just heard the government admit they've been flight testing flying saucers for the last 20 years. So while we've only heard of them in the last year (at most?) they've definitely been doing there things for a while it seems! Roll on NAB.
