The Company I work for recently purchased a Panasonic AF100 and we are using Lexar 64GB SDXC memory cards.

Whenever I plug in my Delkin Devices SDXC USB card reader I recieve the message "The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer"

I am usuing a Mac Book Pro, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Running OSX version 10.6.4

I have also tried mounting the cards via the camera's USB port but recieve the same message.

I have been trying to trouble shoot this problem for the past couple days but I am stumped.
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you formatted the cards- either in the computer or in the camera before shooting- that would be a good thing to check. Make sure to do this with cards you haven't shot anything to. Also 64GB might be an issue- have you tried with 16 or 32 GB cards- say from Sandisk?

I have the same situation with the Lexar Professional 133x 64GB SDXC. Most likely your SD card reader is incompatible with SDXC cards, only SDHC (up to 32GB). Even built-in SD card readers in most notebook computers are incompatible unless it is a recent model. I had to replace card readers in all desktops to Koutech IO-RCM630. And finally, always format your SD card in camera or with a specialty formatter program such as the SD Formatter. Hope this helps.

There are several references on Apple Support and Wikipedia that Mac OS Snow Leopard added exFAT support in version 10.6.5 on November 10, 2010. OS X 10.6.5 and later can read, write, and create exFAT partitions, which are typically used in SDXC cards.

the problems appear to be in the way the cards are formatted by various devices. the AF100 isn't alone
in this regard. i'm avoiding them for a while.
