sdhc cards?

Hey guys. I'm looking to pick up a good quality card for my GH1. It would be primarily for filmmaking. What is a good name/type/size? rogar-Happy(DBG):

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of problem with the cards as long as you get a Class 6 and format it with the camera. I have 2 8 gig transcend cards (That came free with Zoom H4n I bought on eBay), they seem to work fine, and seem to hold an endless amount of footage.

I recommend Class 4 Sandisk Ultra II or their new Class 4 Video HD card.

Class 4 from a reputable brand like this is fine for the GH1 but I wouldn't recommend trying class 4 Transcends, etc.

I've been using cheap brand (A-data and Transcend,) Class 6 cards for over a year now without the slightest of problems. Class 4 might work fine, but I would recommend the 6 for faster data transfer of the file onto your computer.

32 Gb cards are ~$80+ Not really worth it unless you need really long record times.

i bought the Class 6 version of that card at Radioshack for the same price.

i have 4 8Gb Verbatim class 6 cards and have random problems with every card.
In 1080p i often get after 4/5 seconds of recording an error "Recording ws stopped due to card speed error"
In 720p i sometime get a "memory card error". In that case i have to remove and reinsert the card and everything works fine....
