SD footage back to tape

How do you do this ? I connect my camera with the firewire to my pc. I put it in vcr mode. I see my project appearing on the lcd.

This is were i get stuck. I don't knwo how to record... The grey and red rec buttin on top of the camera don't work. The normal rec button also doesn't work.

I can't find anything in the manual. Is this even possible ?

Is the camera in a recording mode that is compatible with the material you are trying to output to the camera?
 
i guess so... it is in SD mode at 576 50i. And it is at the camera>vcr mode. Should it be the dub mode ?
