How large does the SD card need to be in order to upload metadata? Seems like a 16MB card may be sufficient, no?

Hello Bono,

The SD card slot will except any size up to 1GB. :)

Right...but is there any point in using an SD card larger than 16MB? How much storage space does the metadata upload file take?

Yeah, you could use a 32kb card and it'd probably be plenty of room. So if you're getting a card specifically for use with the HVX, you can get the smallest card you can find and that'll be fine.

I got my mom a digital camera for Xmas last year. It came with either a 16MB or 32MB SD card. I got her a larger 512MB one for it. So I think I'll put that "small" card to use on my HVX when it arrives.

The user manual lists the different sizes and starts with 8MB and goes up to 1GB.
There is a lot of kb's and gb's floating around and I don't want anyone to get confused. :)

8MB, 16MB, 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB.
