SD card

Justin how are thing in your neck of the woods? I just finished filming the opening credits to 'R' rage of the zombies in Florida with actress Melissa Cowan from 'The Walking Dead'. now we are all off to New Zealand to shoot the film.

Depending on the type of 4K you're shooting, you might want to stick to the V-rated SDXC cards, where V denotes the minimum sustained writing speed. There are ... uhm, seven total classes, I believe, but the V-30 (30MB/s, 240 Mbps) will give you some flexibility. V-60 is for the external recorders and/or potential higher bit rates like Sony's X-OCN. I haven't seen a V-90 on sale yet but that's what you might need for the ProRes Standard (ProRes HQ is 770 Mbps and V-90 only guarantees up to 720, although some cards may work in 770 too)
