So I took my new C200b out for its first shoot and used it as a B-Cam for an interview. The editor was on the shoot doing on-site back ups of the cards and while it was taking forever to transfer it got me thinking on the fastest/most efficient workflow moving forward.
If I was filming a long interview in 4K internally to SD cards I'm thinking I could record dual slot with this two pack: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1348108-REG/sandisk_128gb_extreme_pro_uhs_ii.html
And then always have a 300MB/s card in one slot and a 95MB/s in the other slot. When it comes time to dump footage, hand the 300MB/s card off to the editor for fastest transfer and just have the 95MB/s card as a safety (and potentially never transfer from).
Not sure how much time that would save in practice, but in theory it seems like it would be a waste of money to have two 300MB/s cards in there recording dual slot and a waste of transfer time to have two 95MB/s cards in there recording dual slot.
Are there any holes in this logic?
