C100: SD Card Offloading

I'm curious what people are using to offload their SD cards. I had an old Sandisk 5 in 1 media reader that has died. So I bought a Sonnet Dio and a Sonnet USB 3 PCI card but so far I am very disappointed with it. I am having many issues with the USB card so the only way I can make the Dio work is USB 2. That is excruciatingly slow so now I am on the prowl for more options. I came across the Addonics esata media reader but it looks like it is quite a few years old so I'm curious if anyone has tried it. My only other idea is a CF to SD adapter and use my FW800 reader which has performed flawlessly for CF cards.

Anyone have any other ideas/suggestions?

I have been using the Lexar Professional USB 3.0 Dual-Slot Reader to download CF and SD cards to my Macbook Air with very good results.

I use the Kingston 4/5-in-one USB 3.0 card reader when I've got a computer, and a NextoDI NVS1501 when in the field without a computer. No problem either way.

I assume you are using a USB3 PCI card too. Which one are you using? I'm thinking my issues lie with that and from what I have been reading, I am not alone.

Yes I'm using the Caldigit PCI USB3 card. I haven't had any issues with it using 10.8 Mountain Lion. I also have 2 external USB3 hard drives and I ingest my Ninja2 footage via USB3 without issues.
