Yes.
4:3.

Why ?
Because the 16/9 of the DVX100 is a false 16/9 ! Just a bad squeeze mode with less "image" than in 4:3.
So, I've decided to shoot in 4:3 like Kubrick did in his lasts movies, like Eyes Wide Shut.
What do you think about, dvx_yaaaaaay ?
 
You can matte it. I don't have a problem with 4:3, but you shouldn't do something just because Kubrick did it.
I can actually give a you a million reasons these grabs would look better in 16:9.
 
I kind of like them in 4:3, Kubrick77. :)

Really nice grabs. I can definately see some Kubrickian influence here. and boy do I like that. :thumbsup:
 
I feel like I'm being to harsh. I didn't mean it like that. There are actually really good grabs there. I like 1, 2, and 5.

The story about Kubrick is just for fun.
First, my will was to shoot this story in 16/9 "by default" because I would a larger image to shoot the place of the story.
