Scratches on HC-X1000?

So I just got an HC-X1000 and I noticed scratches on the SD Card cover that is not present on the other covers on the camera which I presume is made of the same material.

Is this is normal? I got the camcorder from an authorized distributor and it shows only 0H of use when I first started it up.

Should I get it replaced?

it looks used,if you purchased it as a new camcorder i would get a replacement,it is a big hassle having to get all the bits and pieces back in the box though.

How does yours look like now?

The only scratched up part is the SD Card cover.

EDIT: Also could they actually reset the internal operating counter to sell it as new?

There are no marks on mine,not sure about the answer to [could they actually reset the internal operating counter to sell it as new]

Brought it to Panasonic Philippines and they are reporting it the factory and they'll get back to on the resolution.

I haven't contacted the distributor.
