Scene from my new project "Virginia"

[William_Robinette]

Hey guys, went out shooting this past weekend to try and grab some fall leaves before they all fall off. I'm working on a short that takes place all around the state of Virginia. Here is some clips I threw together and I thought some of you might like to see it.

Haha! I guess that answered my question in the other thread! Nice footage. The wides are very much appreciated.

Yup, saw that right before I posted this. It's a fun little camera for sure! Thanks for lookin'!

[Lkorver]

really dig the look, wish we had more overcast days here in california.

may I ask what picture style you used to capture this and if any grading has been done to the footage? great job!

[William_Robinette]

It's funny, because I really wanted a bright blue sky and got stuck with the clouds.

I used the style found here and did some curve adjustment in post.

very nice looking footage. You can tell you have a good eye for composition. I really like the tone that the look sets, it feels very intresting to me. When do you expect to have the full project done?

[William_Robinette]

Thank you!

I'm hoping to be done shooting by mid January and then move on to post, so maybe a month after that if all goes well.

A little too contrasty to me.
