Scene files for the AG-DVX200

So what happens in a GH4. It doesn't have a Knee Control. So what do they do to get around this problem and still have the image look good, even when slightly overexposed. I have never seen a GH4 change colors like the DVX200 does.

Hi Barry, The exposure of the footage is pretty well bang on, but I lifted the curves in photoshop so the colour cast could be seen better, I guess I should have not done that. It was certainly bit of a shock when I turned off the 'Knee-Auto' and finally saw the picture look normal. This was probably the worst background for doing this sort of shot but it did allow me to see the vast colour shifting in real time of the skin tone when more of the bright background got in the shot.
I guess I, like many others, expected the DVX200 to perform perfect every time, in every situation, strait out of the box using the factory scene files but this may not be the case with this camera, a fair amount of testing and personal tweaking is obviously required.

Two of the "Scene File handbook" will be useful to understand what happen by altering a setting,
I think there will come such a handbook für the DVX200 in future too, but the settings are the same
as described in this handbooks.

Thanks for posting these. Although they were not written specifically for the DVX200 they have been very helpful for me to understand the similar settings in the DVX200. I would not have know that these were available otherwise.

Does Panasonic will release modified/fixed scene files?? Native scene files looks weird colors....I wish and hope Panasonic ship DVX 200 with new scene files....
