Saving settings dvx100b questions

Got this dvx100b a feww weeks ago and just getting into it now. (Bizzy, Bizzy)

I'm going through the manual and would just like to confirm a few things before I blow up the camera.

I would like to setup the cam to shoot 30 P with various settings that I like on stuff like knee and master pedistal etc etc. If I'm reading the manual correctly I can take a setting like F6 (which I will probably never use if not going to film)

If I modify the F6 settings , set it to 30P with all the settings set the way I like them (knee, pedistal,gamma etc) and save that f6, all those settings will still be there set the way I like em when I turn the camera on 3 weeks later and turn the knob to F6, correct?

If this is correct would anyone like to volunteer all the settings they prefer and why? (if you have time)

also shutter at 1/48 when you're shooting 24P ( I understand this sorta simulates the film cam setup) This would be a bad setting for 30P correct?
I should use 1/60 correct? (ps, why does it show 1/60.3 ?)

Good info, I just need to sit down and take a few hours messin with the settings, but I like when someone shows pics with what settings they used. I haven't shot any footage yet, even though I've had this for a while. I have a 4 camera 2 hr concert shoot coming up so I better get my butt in gear soon.
