Saving P2 to a laptop

I have a Toshiba laptop (Satellite A 105) a few years old, that has a little side slot with two channels to pick from. The bottom channel accepts my P2 card perfectly. Went to the Panasonic site to download the P2 drivers. The laptop doesn't seem to be recognizing my P2 card. Is there something in the laptop that I don't have tuned on???Any advice??? Also what I am thinking I can do is load P2 info into this laptop than write to a disc for storage of work. Am I correct??? JB

Hey Barry I installed the Card/Bus PCMCIA slot driver and all is well Thanks very much. But now when I have the P2 contents Management window open I can't get the P2 card to talk to my computer. I never used this card slot before. I checked all possible angles with the computer but it seems like the drive is not working. It is giving me a choice between C or D. Shouldn't there be another choice of drive? Is the slot that you put the P2 card in the C or D I am thinking that it is not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, JB
