1k open faced with a quarter silk, and for back light we had the window with a shade in front of it. That was basic lighting in there.
 
looks really good man, very well done. Question, in the comments you said you used photoshop for editing, what part of the vid did you edit using photoshop?

and I'm guessing the part where the guy was getting "swirled" in the photoshop background was actually done in after effects using that effect whose name I cannot recall at the moment. lol

nope, smudge is the photoshop effect, oh well, can't remember it but I think you know what I"m talking about
 
I was not in the editing stage. The guy with the long dark hair was the editor. I would not know much about photoshop and aftereffects. I really only use Final Cut Pro to cut things together and make my reel.
