Save Andromeda/Hydra!!!

I think they are. Juan has always solicited feedback from his customers and put requests into the Reel Stream software. He does read the forums.

So far, this appears to be our only chance, so lets all take just a few minutes out of our day to sign this thing!

A huge bummer, I bought my HVX with this in mind and was hoping this would be "out" by now or soon. What if we all did a Harley Davidson thing and created a venture captital effort to buy or save the technology from being killed? Has it already been sold? Is it a competitor or higher end product company that would have no interest in seeing Juan's products on the market any longer?

I don't know if it has been sold or not yet. Juan said he would release the details as soon as he is allowed. I really have no idea of who is buying it, but I have heard that several companies are/were interested.

I don't have it, but I think this is such a great technology that it should be available for everyone that wants it and has the money for it...

first I want to say I signed the petition and told everyone of it because I think it's worth a try, BUT...
Deep in my heart I think it won't change anything. You wrote about Juan's customer service and stuff and I'm sure he is a great guy, but making customers happy is one thing and a truck full of money is another thing (and I think he did get a really good price for selling his knowledge...). I wish we would be able to change the situation but I'm afraid we're not...
Let's hope I'm wrong and everything turn out to be good...Damn I wish I'd had the money to buy it a few months earlier....

Will this petition change anything? I can't say, but yes it is worth a try, and its so EASY TO SIGN! It only takes a few minutes of your time. If anything, this petition will just help show that we demand better quality at a lower price, which is clearly possible.

Also for those who don't know, Juan did say this at the Reel-Stream forum:

"At this time I can't post more details about the future of the technology, but it seems likely that it will not be marketed to the public. I have a feeling that if there is enough interest there is a possibility this could change, but it is not their plan at this time. "

That's what were trying to do, show interest.

i singed the petitoin, it hink its very honorable what you/us are doing, but i do feel tht this is a loosing battle unfortuantley, the andromeda prduct is great and it is low cost compared buying a full out HD camera. I think his product is too good and big companies are worried, so they want to buy it and either scrap it or use it to their advantage. I do hope that he made a good paycheque out of that, smart guy.

Thanks for signing!

I think this petition goes beyond Andromeda personally. Think about what Andromeda/Hydra represented, true pro quality HD at a realistic price.
