7D SanDisk 16gb/ 30MB/s disaster/ Canon 7D

I recently purchase a brand new 7D and SanDisk 16gb/ 30MB/s cards. I was shooting a wedding and during the ceremony (of course!) i got this error:

"Card cannot be accessed. Reinsert/change card or format card with camera."

The entire clip is gone!! All my other clips are on the card, but the clip that was recording when this happened is not there. This happened again later on a totally separate card as well. Has anyone had this issue? Any restore programs that you could recommend? PLEASE HELP!
 
This is most likely caused by over-heating.

You should get multiple 8gb cards, it's better to have a fresh card in the camera.
 
Thanks Shaneuk, its strange that it would be over-heating, I have several buddies with the same exact setup- camera and cards and they have never seen this before. I didn't get the over heating signal or anything.

I recently restored data from a broken SSD drive. It should find all possible on your card ;)
 
Thanks CiPO I will check that out. Did some troubleshooting today with another 7D and cards, and isolated the problem to the 7D and not the cards. B&H is sending me a new camera. Still haven't solved the issue with getting my footage back yet.
