San Diego Airport Timelapse

Nice footage :)

How do you like that intervalometer? The price is quite nice compared to the Canon one.

I love it, especially for the price. I'm not sure how well it works with auto settings since I haven't tried it yet, but I know you can only set the shutter speed through the intervalometer (not the ISO or aperture), so I'm not sure how it handles situations with lighting changes yet.

Pretty loud, but you get used to it. Nice thing about being on the west coast is that the airport really dies down after about 10-11pm because it's so late everywhere else, so you don't hear planes overnight much.

Just bought that intervalometer myself. Whew, saved myself about $100 for whatever limited time lapses I end up doing.

I got my intervalometer the other day and have been doing some time lapse tests from my apartment building and this one turned out pretty well.

Shot with 8 Second shutter, 100 ISO, F/4.8
Shot very flat and crushed the blacks a little in post and boosted the saturation.

You used and 8 second shutter. What was the timing between shots?

1 second interval between shots. It's tough to find a happy medium between long shutters for the car lights being smoother, but still shooting often enough to get the airplanes in action.

the link to whichever intervalometer you use is no longer active, any more info on it? I'd like to pick one up.
