Doesn't seem to be clipping anything. I shot two versions.. one in Apple ProRes 422, the other in DNxHD. The latter looked like ungraded footage, but when ProcAmp was applied with -6.7 brightness and +116.1 contrast, I got the scopes to line up with both images to +109 IRE and 0 on the blacks. Then sampling back and forth, the only difference is ProRes is over-saturated in the reds and DNxHD looks right. I magnified to 400% and looked and compared shadow area and found slightly less noise in the Avid file. Both files showed no banding on a gradients and highlight detail was the same.
