Right-click the photo and save. It's 207megs, 720p.

Here is a 157MB WMV encoding, also 720p...

This is not a trailer, just sample footage to show off some outdoor, natural-light cinematography and editing.

We're planning to shoot an even more beautiful picture in summer '08 on the Red, so if anyone knows any investors or producers, let me know! :D I'm looking to raise 200k.

Hey thanks! I love shooting outdoor stuff. For the feature I mentioned we want to shoot in the Sierras, Redwoods, Tahoe, Zion, Arches, AZ, and Baja.

Settings: Cine-D. We used 1/2 black pro mist for almost all of it. I'm the director; the DP was Chris Ferguson.

oops, it appears that the file i uploaded is not the complete video, which is 160 megs... let me fix it.

quick question, did you guys see the "afghanistan" part at the end, and the title card?

yes, nicely done. I'm thinking about getting an HVX, would you pick an HVX over a Canon A1?

lol, WHAT?

I'd pick an HVX over almost anything in its class. but I'm geared toward the Red right now.

yeah just want to make sure. I've seen so many people going for the A1 thats why i asked. I would love to go with red too but the waiting list is so long.

Now that looks great !

Superb exposure, not a single blown highlight, looks like it has been shot with a much bigger camera.

What was your master ped setting ?

weird, i cant seem to view this on either my PC or MAC....i'll try downloading again
oops, my bad, FANTASTIC looking footage.

This was triple A!
You MUST, repeat MUST share your settings and your postpro steps. Period.
MUST SHARE!
If it is only basic HVX and the environment your living, I´m moving there ;o)
And since you´re going the RED route - one more reason to SHARE your workflow hehehe
Great work pal!

wow great footy man!

seriously..... you just cant beat nat light..... god put it here for a reason and we keep trying to block it out, cover it up, flag it down, etc..... great stuff

btw, did you shoot with the master ped set to -12 or so? some of the shots are really dark.... but it still looks amazing
