This video was shot and edited on the day of there wedding in FCP X and tweaked the next day using twixtor. Same Day edits can be a little stressful but its great being able to see everyones reactions on the day of the wedding.

How did you get that sick shot at 2.48!? It's intense! What lens and settings did you generally have the camera on? And how did you get the sweet blur at the top of the frame, in post?

Great job... shooting... and editing!

Was wondering how many camera you had?
What stabilizer you used? (I did a job using the glidecam without vest, was a little rough at the end of the day)
Looks like you used some type of slider.... was wondering what kind you brought with you...?

Congrats anyway!

Lovely job you have done on this.

Agreed. Youre exactly the reason I say to people who buy a first camera and say they'll shoot weddings or something to start out... that they should seriously rethink that strategy. Shooting weddings takes a particular kind of person "who gets it" and has the skill to deliver. Well done. Id hire you.

WOW! That is great! Joyful! The images are beautiful. The shot at the window as she looks behind her to see how the dressing is going is so artful. What really knocks me out is the editing and the shots you had to work with. You must have had a "shot list" or something to know what you'd need (e. g. inserts putting on the wedding rings to cut to the church, the sound sync with them dancing in the street). Amazing! You couldn't have done better if you cast it and shot it like a movie. Well done! Yikes, if I were in the wedding video business I'd want to work for you!

It really depends on the couple's budget and what they want exactly. Not everyone wants a music video and not everyone has the money to pay for it...Some people just want their day captured in a documentary-style fashion with high quality footage and audio....To each his own.

Having said that, yeah this is a beautiful video. I'd be interested in knowing some of the gear used and how many shooters...it seems like there were at least 3 shooters.

Fantastic video! Love many of your shots. And the song too!

Just curious, how did you stabilize your cam?

Man you suck.

...well, not in a bad way, but in a I'm-nowhere-near-that-good way. SDE, too? Psshhhh... I think I'd pay money for a BtS video of how this was done. Seriously.

You know, my first impression was why's this wedding video here and not in the Screen Grabs/Footage section, I mean, we're documentary producers, serious film makers and not wedding photographers.

Then I watched it.

Wow - nicely done, plus you edited it in FCP X which I'm struggling to adjust to. I probably would have missed it in any other forum and then not had the chance to say, 'Great job VinnyMinton - I'm impressed with your talent!".

Thanks for posting.

How? I mean...how? that's just too... I mean... I give up. That's amazing. Must have been more than one cam with some of the close shots during the wedding pre-shot, right? What lenses? Please say you faked SOME of it and didn't just get all those shots exactly right at exactly the right time. Amazing job. By the way, the bride is definitely married now, right? Not available? Has she got a sister?

Great job! Well edited and visual creativeness a total A+. I say that with a team, 2 cameras and an editor or at least data management, I can see this happening without too much hassle. The key ingredients were planing, execution and (OOOHHHH NOOOOO) FCPX. I bit of BTS or description would make a few guys here very happy. Hope you share your experience. But I see it with a 3 man/woman team.

That appears to be a shift/tilt effect or filter.

Done with several FCP X plug ins, or done in post manually.
