Same cameras different image

I just purchased a second dvx100b to shoot along side my first.
With UV filters removed and all settings being equal "I firewired ones settings to the other", I'm seeing a subtle but definate difference in image. The new one is slightly more red.
Anything else I can do?
The old cam has 126hrs and the new cam 35.

Oh, yeah I forgot to add that. I started with auto on both and figured that was the problem so I manualed and the problem was still there but not as pronounced.

hmm, it still sounds like only something with the WB, check every detail about each (from the basic settings to the shutter/iris) and make sure every one is at the same level and are shooting in the same lighting, then WB on the exact same white (or whatever you are balancing on), and you should get the closest look in the images. The hours on the head aren't a factor

Hey, that's a point. I didn't checked the shutter I was only looking at the scene file settings. I'll post back, I have to pull everything out it's all packed away.
I've got kids - can't leave anything out.

Nope, even at the same shutter speed it's still the same. Everythings set the same.
Also, not only is the image redder it's slightly darker like it's stopped down.
Would different manufacture batches make a difference?

Never expect any two cameras to match.

I imagine you've used the same monitor and A/B'ed them, and have already checked saturation?

Try this.

set them to Bch or Ach white balance. Hold down the WB button till the ABB kicks in. You can black balance the cameras too. The black balance helps subtle matching of color and tone. this could be your problem.

Ok. I just shot footage with all being equal. Captured in FCP the images are identical.
Noobie assumption on my part. I just figured if the lcd was different the capture would be too. That's good to know.
Sorry guys I'll dig deeper next time.
Thanks for the help and suggestions though.

Poco, we all go through this. Consider it sop to attempt balancing cameras before any shoot.

I had to balance 3 Varicams, and surprisingly, they were very well matched from the start. But that began with a good prep in LA before we unboxed them before our shoot in NY.
