F3: S-LOG on F3 and other issues..URGENT HELP!!

Just to go over what I did:

I had the F3 always set to 1920x1080 for recording normal speed. 25fps.

In the menu settings I made the option for the S&Q to be 1280x720 50fps. Then when I turned on the S&Q with the side button, I dialled in 50fps and then also tried the lowest 17fps. The 17fps was really fast on playback, which makes sense. But the 50fps was not slow on playback!?!

Am I doing anything wrong??

I'm not sure if you're doing anything wrong - I've never been able to get 50fps footage (whether recorded as 720p50 or 720p S&Q 50fps) to playback in slow motion. I've always had to conform it to 25p in Cinema Tools.

Fortunately that's a quick and painless process.

I'm quite sure once you switch back to 1920x1080 24p (or 25p in Simon's case) it will play back in slo-mo. I always managed to view mine in slow-mo in camera and perhaps its because I was switching modes? I just can't remember and sorry no longer have the F3.

Perhaps someone else can quickly try it.

I think the case is simply 50fps in Slo-Mo as has been pointed out. In our NTSC world we just don't often get to pay much attention to the 50p workflows. I think a conform to 25fps would do the trick.
