[Erik Naso]

[eheath]

The new red "C" logo is definitely on that second DSLR looking camera.

yeah what is that???

[Symon]

The DSLR HAS to be the 'historic' bit.

TELL US ABOUT THE DSLR YOU HAVE PICTURED!!!!!

Hahahaha

[Postmaster]

Hmmmm.... deja-vue

[Rick Burnett]

I just haven't seen anything yet to justify the price.

[StMad]

If it's 12k, 1000 lines, 10bit, 422, great in low light, has extra wide dr, and produces those skin tones we see in the best f3 and Alexa footage...it should do well.

[kurth]

yep ..there's another camera coming !

[Quickbrownfox]

I also think it is the new EOS C5

[dcarstens]

Interchangeable mount on the lenses like CP.2s, or one-or-other like the C300?

+1 Ha Hah

[Centro]

Well the specs aren't much different then the ones rumored. The price is, although the street price could be lower. Now we'll have to see how it actually looks. For now I like the form factor and the onboard capabilities.

[dcloud]

Looks like a 1d body

[J Michael]

The Texas Media Systems pre-order page appears to have the 30-300 as part of the 16k package.

[Postmaster]

The Canon mount version will be probably cheaper than the PLMount.
And you can always buy a cheap Canon to PL mount adapter.

I had a chinese drill once....that was enough !

[JohnT]

Looks like the C300 can handle EF and PL mount lenses.

[Tzedekh]

Yes, at $8k it would be a genuine 'game changer', but at it's current price it's just another competitor - which is perfectly normal really.

How would it be a game changer at that price? The FS100 and AF100 are about $3K less.

[Nuno Dias]

Its official that no price or specs have been mentioned at the event. Why people believe that ONLY DVINFO has this information is just ridiculous. By the way, Engadget has front row. And no, there were no previous handouts with prices and specs! That would not make any sense for such a hyped announcement, would it?
