GH2 Ruige Monitor Review

I picked up one. I know several people have been
wondering if it's any good.

Nice review. The question I always have with products from dodgy places like China and India, is how consistent their products are - for example the side buttons you were turning didn't always "catch on", and that may work on one monitor, but not on another, basically you get no consistency and there's huge sample variation... so you're taking a chance every time you buy one.

You should do a followup review after using it for awhile - it would be nice to know how it works in the field... and if you have experience with other monitors, a comparison would be neat too... hey, and I want a pony too

For $ 260 you bought it, this would be a good value. But for $ 550 it is not good value at all as the problem you faced with it. You have got the Marshall 5 inch, Sony 5 clv inch and other models from Manhattan LCD and Ikan that are around these prices.
