rough film look in camera settings

hey i just got pulled in to shoot a short and i have like 6 hours to prep; i know right.
anyway, im looking for some base settings to achieve the closest to 16mm look. any ideas?

Biggest differences I have seen in trying to intercut DVX footage and 16mm is the DVX is far more detailed/sharpened than most telecined 16mm footage.

Shoot 24p (or 24pA), obviously. Probably THIN detail level. Reduce the DETAIL levels, and possibly increase the CORING level. DVX colors are way too saturated ny default, I usually turn CHROMA level down a few steps, NORMAL MATRIX, CINELINE GAMMA. That's a basic film look.

I personally keep my detail level at -5, you may want some noise, if so leave the coring, I would also turn the master pedastal down a few steps to get some darker blacks, however that is personal preference. And deffinately turn down the chroma.
