Rotolight for 5D

Hey everyone I was just doing some research and trying to find a good mountable light for my 5D and I ran across the Rotolight:

I was just wondering on your guy's thoughts on this product as compared to Litepanel's LED mountable light. The reason why I like rotolight much more is because the price is unbelievably cheap, at just 125 dollars I can have a very bright and dim-able light mounted on my camera opposed to paying some where around 300 bucks for litepanel's LED mountable light.

It's an LED light for a patio umbrella. If you mount it similar to the way Rotolight mounts theirs (around the shotgun mic) it give out a good deal of soft light.

For $22 bucks, you can't really go wrong.

Also, though I haven't tried it myself, the light can be separated at one end forming a wide "U" shape. Conceivable you could attach two of them together and create a ring light that would go around the lens of the camera.

I haven't used the Rotolight myself, but I did get a chance to play around with it at NAB. Personally, I thought it was pretty cool, and it'd be a nice tool to add to the kit. I just haven't gotten around to ordering one quite yet. :D

The link is not available now. My uncle are planning to have patio umbrella and looking for a patio umbrella lights. Patio umbrella lights are an essential part of many people’s backyards, providing shade and protection from the hot sun. You wouldn’t think that patio umbrellas would be useful after sundown, but they can be quite handy when used with patio umbrella lights.
