Certainly.
I feel like a little kid again.
These lights are AWESOME.
I've posted some photos of the lighting kit I just got. They're so compact and light it's unbelieveable. You can't beat the cost either.
I used the softbox on one of the 250s to take these shots. The lights barely heated up. Well, at least the casing didn't. Obviously, the glass in front of the bulb and metal does.
You know, I don't know. I currently only have the 250s and they're about 1 -1.5 each...They are EXTREMELY light weight though.
LOL, the entire kit weighs less than 10lbs.
The softbox seems to be just like any other softbox. I've never used them before this kit, just never had a chance.
You unscrew a lock down screw that holds a clip in place. Then you place the softbox ring in the slot and retighten...wonderful set up. The barndoors have little spring clips on them for gels too...I forgot to mention that.
im debating whether or not to wait for the 500 kit to get bac in stock. Do you guys think the 1200 watt kit (barndoors/softbox) will be overkill for regular indoor shooting?
I asked that same question earlier. Jarred said that the 1200s (2 600s) should be fine for indoor shoots. I figured that the 1ks might be too much so I went with the sixes. You can always pull back on the light though. Better too much than too little huh?
