Those are just basically slipcovers on top of Zeiss lenses held in place by set screws so they look like CP.2 lenses.

We all know how gear gets its scratches on set, this is not only a machined gear, but something to protect the body of the lens. From the looks of it, you can always take the set screws out and have a regular zeiss lens if you'd want.
I like the idea a lot, and it allows you to have standard size eequipment usage. So yeah its a slip on, but so is duclos and that process doesn't give you extra protection or a beefier body, or that look that clients like (which is very important, and whoever says its not is just kidding themselves). .
I realize that this is the F3 board and I do not have an F3 but, this thread seems to be more about the Rokinon Cine lenses, so I am posting a capture that I just did with my AF100 and the Rokinon Cine 35mm T1.5 I just received about half an hour ago.

I think the image is beautiful and am VERY pleased that I took a chance on this lens.
