as an fs100 owner who does mostly talking head interviews, because of the controlled lighting situations i have been using the kit lens and legacy glass mounted to the sony e-mount via cheap dumb adapters.
several upcoming projects will now force me off the tripod and into the ghastly and scary world of handheld.
i'm interested in the rokinon/bower 35mm/1.4 as a starting point in fast primes.
i know it is manual focus and read others suggest it's performance is poor wide open but decent from f2 and on.
my question has to do with what mount?
i believe an e-mount is not available.
(and that opens a pandora's box of whether i should invest in glass in the e-mount flavor at all)
what adapters are needed for the rokinon/bower 35mm/1.4 if i chose the canon or nikon mount?
i'm open to any and all thoughts as to mounts or what initial glass and mount combo i should be looking at.
thanks in advance to those who care to share.
be well.
