That wasn't a review, it wasn't even an ad. That was a bowl of fruit/vase of flowers effort. There's enough of that on youtube. Make something with content. If not a review or story then at the very least a proper camera test or lens comparison or something. Then come back and link that.
Thanks for sharing!
What is important is that you had fun and you are exploring.
Don't worry about the feedback here. You just need to find a group of younger folks that are just starting to explore and share with.
When you are first strating out, that enthusiasm and energy are your biggest assets. Have fun, make images about your life. Keep your camer ahandy and explore. Then. LOOK at the images that you make, find the elements that YOU like, and build on those in teh next step. Find what motivates you and moves you forward.
Then figure out a language that communicates what you want to communicate to others about:
As you get more expereinece, the technical proficiency will come naturally. It is important, but at a certain point it is just a given. What is more important is the content - what you have to say!
That changes as you get older. Say what you need to say now, later on you will have other things to say. Just respect your own thoughts/perceptions and get them out there.
Good luck. Have fun!

Don't really understand where this has a purpose, unless you are completely new to DSLRs and just wanted a feel of the aspects and what they're like to shoot on.
I don't agree with everything said above, but I do agree with what I've quoted out:
Seriously.. I've probably made over fifty short films that will never go anywhere other than my personal computer screen. Just go out, do and learn, then apply what you've learned into more worthy short films. Or do whatever you want-- documentaries, weddings, narrative, etc.
Put more effort into quality pieces. Just keep on creating.
