Here's a good example of the RODE SVM on the Canon A1. Getting the sound right shooting airplane vids can be tricky, not knowing exactly what levels to set for the approaching engines.
The Connie puts out 12,000 HP on takeoff, sure gives the SVM a workout.
Here everything worked, she taxied into just the right spot so you hear the exhausts as she turns. The SVM was on top of the A1, straight in, no mixer, low cut in and I managed to have the A1 levels set right for once.
