C300: Rode NTG 3 and C300 mic holder?

Hey guys

Who of u use rode ntg3? mic holder of my c300 is to big, i bought Sony mic spacer but its not enough, -

are there any special accessories? like rubber rings or something? or any special solutions?

I have the NTG2 and it has the same issue. I bought some rubber O rings from Home Depot that fit perfect. Cost a couple dollars. Just take the mic to a hardware store and find the right fit.

I use DIY O rings too. Cheap and simple. See my picture in this thread on the other forum.

A few wraps with some black electrician's tape...run the XLR cable through the mount as a spacer...both have worked fine for me and my C100/NTG-2 combo.
