Shot with the Canon 7D and Zeiss Compact Primes. This was a great way to test the compact primes and I have to say that they are really great lenses.
At first I was nervous about a T2.1 and T2.8 stop on the lenses, but then you realize that most Canon L series zooms are F2.8 which really means T3 - T3.5. So compared to say the 24-70mm f2.8 the 50mm T2.1 is about almost 2 stops faster.
The lenses are really really light weight for handheld and mechanically they are very sturdy and have nice movements. Their larger size is actually a blessing when you need to add a mattebox and follow focus into the mix.
