Tell me what’s more scary a man killing people because he had mommy and daddy issues or a man killing for no apparent reason.

The former, actually.Tell me what’s more scary a man killing people because he had mommy and daddy issues or a man killing for no apparent reason.
No. By some synergistic miracle the first couple were not horribly cheesy. I don't think that could ever happen again. If you were given the rights and the budget, would you film a remake of
Nightmare on Elm Street
Yes. I enjoyed it at the time and of course it holds special place for me. But it is no Citizen Kane.Friday the 13th
I don't know. Great movie. I'm tempted to say yes just do to the horrible fashion. But Spacek was perfect. Hard to imagine another.Carrie
Great movie. But does not seem to be burned in the collective consciousness the way some others are. Not as iconic from a purely visual sense maybe? So I think maybe it could be fresh.Rosemary's Baby
No way. Never.Psycho
The Shining
Jaws
The Exorcist
Evil Dead
I think many people here would do it. Many filmmakers would latch onto the preexisting market these films already have. Which is why these movies keep getting made. Even John Carpenter made "the Thing."
Yikes is this movie going to suck.
"Inside every one of us . . . There exists a dark side" (cue Vader's respirator)
This movie would be humorous if it was a conceptual thing, or a joke. "Hey, did you hear Rob Zombie is going to remake Halloween?" *snicker*
I don't wanna know what makes Mikey tick. I want to NOT know what is or isn't going on inside him.
I want suspense, not gore induced revulsion instead. I want fear, not over the top graphically depicted violence instead. I want drama, not dizzying camera work and cursing instead. Rob Zombie remaking Halloween would be just like Lucas remaking . . .
Oh, wait a minute.
Trailer sucked, movie is going to suck.
I can't quite get the my mind around the “Zombie filmmaker” bandwagon. His movies aren't good. Period. No, his movies suck. Period. Because he used to be a marginally talented, studio-crutched musician he is a great filmmaker? Are you kidding?
And he is going to rape one of the best villains of all time.
For shame.
I wonder if every other word will be "f**k" like in his last two pieces of garbage.
