RIP Michael Jackson

"To die will be an awfully big adventure"

Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Would Not Grow Up (1904) Act III

recently all people would talk about is how much of a freak he his. Now that he is gone, it's back to the music. A true man ahead of his time.

Musical genius and brought storytelling to music videos, giving a campy new fad cinema street cred.

Thanks MJ.

Michael and Farrah RIP
Look outside, There will be two more "stars "shining brightly in the sky tonight.
Peace to you both!

I'm glad to say i was one of the few among my peers who could have cared less about the media, and what he public had to say about his personal life. To me, it was always about his music.

Freaky or not... yeah, definitely the king of pop... I'm feeling sad. A big piece of pop, and pop culture... gone... damn.

An inspiration to millions. I was musically influenced by his music. He crossed boundaries.
While this is a time of tragedy, its also the time to celebrate the artist and its music. I see in CNN people are gattering in the streets dancing and playing his records- that should be the way this day should go trough in history: one global party of music fans dancing in tribute of the World's biggest musical superstar passing.

Rip, mj.

I've posted several videos of talented kids over the years, but no one comes close to being as gifted, cool and charismatic as the young Michael Jackson. He may have been an eccentric, odd man (to say the least), but as a child, he was talented beyond his years.

Hell yeah dude!!! In my book the Jackson5 era Mike is the greatest singer/entertainer in audio recorded history

No one on dvxuser knows this about me, but Michael Jackson was and is the single largest influence in my life artistically. He taught me what true creativity was. He taught me perfectionism.

On a side note, for those who don't know, the fact that Thriller is the biggest selling album of all time tends to shadow another bit of boasting, Bad, his 87' follow up to Thriller, became the 2nd biggest selling album of all time, and 91's Dangerous, took Bad's slot. He holds the top three slots. Not too shabby.
