What would be the best shutter speed for a DSLR camera should be set to, provide a smoother and natural motion? Considering I am working on 25fps, 1080.

what do you mean by "right shutter speed" ?

If you want to emulate film shutter, then its 180 degrees or 1/48th shutter speed. The camera only does 1/50th and 1/60th. So the closest you can get is 1/50th and if you want to avoid certain problems like flickering, then you go to 1/60th.
