Riding A Bike SGpro

I am putting together a short story video and it starts with a person riding a bike. I had a bunch of visions of what kind of shots I wanted so we tested out some stuff, some of it looks cool. The sun ruined it because it made real bad hot spots on his arms and stuff, but stuff shot under all shade looks nice to me because its even, even though its a little blandish:

Youtube only sorry

hehe nice. some bits are a bit over exposed but i understand due to the hard lighting conditions. Love the unicycle

yeah i kept saying wait for the sun because usually sun makes my stuff look better, but i think because the sun was hitting from the side, it just lit his arms up while the rest was shadows. stupid sun.

The overexposed hands were a bit annoying at first, but then it turned out to be a bit sylistic. Not saying that your footage should be overexposed from now on...but it wasn't that bad.

Nice colors. You shoot that on the back of a pick-up? 24p? 60?

thanks mack, but i cant bear to look at the hot spots on his arms anymore. i shot it at 24pa like this:

totally. i think i could get the sticky pod i have to hold my set up, i think i might need a big bean bag or something to support the front end with the adapter and stuff, but it would be way too much work

You have some nice shots there.

I can understand sitting on the hood for some of the shots, but some of them have the camera way too close to the ground. How did you do those shots?

the shots with the camera real low behind the bike were done by hanging out of the window from inside the car. behind the driver's seat. pretty much standing up out the window then bending down towards the road. i held the handle of the camera in my left and and had my right on the lens. i did it real quick cause i dont like holding the camera and the adapter by the camera handle, but it looks pretty cool. its hard to keep it steady and level though
