Ridiculous Speed Ramping

[brownpaperbagproductions]

My friend got a new reversible jacket and so we gave it a test spin with some speed ramping. Ended up with a masterwork of douchebaggery.

So, yeah the ramping didn't turn out awesome. Is there a free plug-in that works reasonably well?

New version with frame blending turned off.

Thanks. I turned it off for the first two shots, but I got lazy and didn't think it was doing much, turns out it does quite a bit.

I honestly thought it was pretty hilarious for a test film. Genuinely funny. Seems like for slo mo you reallly gotta have it either on a dolly, jib, or tripod.

Haha, glad to see someone else shares the same sense of humor. Even know there wasn't much time that went into this, I still found it pretty funny.

Nice job !

LMFAO... that was awesome!

That was friggin' hilarious!

LOL! Good clean fun.

The secret of speed ramping is, that you never go faster than real time.
If you do, all you get is a part time Buster Keaton flick.

About the same time he got yelled at I was thinking the same thing, what a DH? Great twist, very funny.

Thanks for the tips and kind words everyone. Even if only one greasy pre-teen kid watches this and realizes that you need more than just a cool 80's jacket and Orbits gum to be an alpha male, that you also need to pick on people weaker and less self confident than you, then I've done my job as a filmmaker.
