Retro Arri Matte Box

I sold an old Arri SR a while back. I kept the matte box and when I got the 550D it found a new friend. I just shot some timelapse tests with it today. It was originally made for a Zeiss Vario Sonnar 10-100.
Old School meets high tech. Keep an eye out for old gear like this. Usually goes pretty cheap when you find it.

I'm using the same mattebox as well. Must be 20 years old, and has outlasted the plastic mattebox I had (which died rather quickly).

I think it may be more than 30 years old. I don't know when they started making the SR2, but it had to be before that. I really like it though. Very compact and light in a bag. Cut a 3x4 piece of plastic and mounted a 72mm filter thread in so I can use all my 72mm filters as apposed to finding a new set of 3x4s.
