GH5 Report of the trip in Ethiopia with the GH5

Yes, it is truth, I don't like to study.

If you do not study the camera operation and basic photography you will not get ANY IMPROVEMENT in your image quality over running your AX100 in automatic. We have been telling you this for a long time. You have to study or give up and accept the image quality you are getting now from the AX100 that is easy for you to operate. You can even get improvements in that as I have said to you before . On the AX100 set the shutter to manual at 1/100 and let everything else be automatic including ND. Frame the shot and press the start button !!!

In car terms it is like someone who has driven an automatic transmission car and now has a Ferrari sports car with 6 speed manual transmission and is asking people what gear to use !!

Yes, it is truth, I don't like to study.

Said no successful artist ever.

You seem to ignore the fundamental aspect that delivers better quality. The person operating the camera. A camera is a tool an artist can use to craft something beautiful. Yes some tools deliver better results than others but no amount of sexy features on a camera are ever going to make up for an utter lack of giving a crap when it comes to becoming a profound expert at the craft.

If you don’t want to study then stop wasting our time and continue to shoot mediocre material no matter how many cameras you buy. You want a camera that does the work for you and to that I say good luck.

Press exit in the bottom right corner. You set this by placing two fingers on the display and spreading like zoom on your phone or tablet. Like I have said before there is a lot you need to learn about the GH5.

Today I needed to use GH5 and I have that same problem. If I press exit in the bottom right corner, I am able to exit but as soon as I use the focus I get the same sreen.

Push the little display button on the back of your camera to the select the various screen options....it looks like you've tapped the magnification part of the screen....tap screen reset on the screen

There are no buttons on the back of your camera that let me to select the various screen option. I am not able to eliminate that screen.

I told you where to find the menu item in one of my last posts. Do you not read anything ? Its on the cWrench menu called MF Assist. Turn it OFF. Its also in the manual that we all keep telling you to read and understand.

Thanks for your help, I have just understood. Now I solved that problem choosing MF Assist "OFF". Thanks again one.
