RepairTech Warranty - Under $3000 sufficient?

Hey guys, this forum has really helped me out so far and convinced me to buy the A1 a few days ago from an online store, CentralDigital.com. I am very unhappy with their level of service (the packaging was horrible and a few accessory boxes were damaged; however, the Canon box was ok, and I've tested the camera and everything appears to work as far as my knowledge goes - it turns on and records).

Anyways, I bought a 4 year RepairTech warranty from them and the one they sent me is "up to $3000". I called Centraldigital and asked why is this as I paid $3300 roughly for the camera. They told me it was the right warranty. I then called RepairTech and they told me that I should have the up to $3500 one.

However, I distrust Central (they are located in New York) and I'm wondering if the warranty will cover it. I don't know how warranties work as I've never had to use them (thankfully!). A part of me thinks that the price of the A1 will drop in a year's time, so the price may be under $3000 when the original Canon warranty expires and the Repairtech one kicks in.

Will this work, or should I return this one to Central and let them send me the correct one (if they do it)?

I just don't want to be stuck without a warranty (and one which I paid for at that!).

Tim
