Repair Help.

Sorry -- i posted this earlier in the wrong board...

Hello Forum. I have a quick question.

I let my friend borrow my DVX-!00, and returned it with a problem. In moving the camera the fixure to the internal mic snapped off. I checked the mic, it's fine, yet the plastic around it is shattered. What should i do?

The camera is in full warranty. Should i send it to panasonic? Does anyone know of a good repair show in the Los Angeles region?

Go on the Panasonci website to find an authorized dealer in LA. If it is not covered by the warranty have your friend pay for it.

give them a call. I while back I sent two cameras there and was very happy with their service. someone from their company has also occasionally particpated in some dvxuser.com posts.

I did the whole "check the pana webiste" to locate someone, that is where i ended up and I am in california...I don't recall even getting a name in the los angeles area, though, perhaps there aer some shops that can do some work for you.
 
The best place in LA is Digitron Electronics (factory authorized warranty service).
