I tried the search function but didn't find what I was looking for; apologies if this has been covered...
I'm trying to rename ingested clips in P2CMS ("playground1" instead of "01795K" for example) but it won't let me: I get the message 'clip is locked' even when I manually unlock the MFX file.. Manual says it can be done choosing "rename" (alt, M)...
Changing user name through "options" doesn't work : the same message.
Raylight (for Mac) doesn't seem to be able to do this either.
Do I really have to go through FCP?
Next to that: how can I rename my P2 cards that show up as "no name" on my desktop when the camera is connected through firewire? I can't just select it and type in a new name like you would do with a harddisk for example
