C100: Removing viewfinder on C100 Mark Ii

I've seen people remove the viewfinder extension on the C300. Can the C100 Mark II do this as well? It's make putting it on a Ronin much easier.

It can not be removed.

I've even gone as far as removing some screws underneath the rubber...now I have a squeaky viewfinder haha

Bummer. It works on the Ronin, but it'd work better without the VF sticking off the back.

2 and a bit years late to the party here, but I recently removed the EVF from my C100 MkII without damaging the camera at all. It was surprisingly simple and only took me about 10 mins to do, once I had worked the process out.
