C100: Removing sharpness

I made the mistake of shooting some interviews with the C100 in Cine 1 with default sharpness of 10. When turned down to -10 in camera, it looks much better (found this out post fact). The default sharpness is a little unflattering and I'm having trouble removing it in post without making the image look out of focus.

Do you have any suggestions on how to do this in Premiere Pro CS6?

Thanks in advance.

Sam

Do you have access to Tiffen Dfx plugin for CS6? You can use digital diffusion filter effects to soften up the image.

Or a simple trick, overlay a slightly blurred version of the same footage on top of the original, adjust transparency for best result.
