Removing advanced pulldown in FCP after capture

Hey, newbie question here. Couldn't find what I was looking for in the search, so I thought I'd just ask here.

I shot some 1080i/24pa footage and used FCP 5.1.2 (a first for me) and the Import P2 function to import from P2 cards into .mov files, and I did not check the pulldown removal tool, thinking that I'd have more flexibility and the ability to remove it later. The remove advanced pulldown command seems to be greyed out. Is it possible to remove the advanced pulldown from the .mov files with just FCP, or is it necessary to use Cinema Tools or something similar?

Thanks

If it is multiple clips in the footage it may be that the pulldown is different for each of the clips and it cant apply a unified method of pulldown for the entire footage. I dont use FCP but I seem to remember someone had a similar problem from importing all the clips as one large file.

I think the solution was to recapture as all seperate clips or to break it back up into seprate clips so you can apply the pulldown removal to each clip seperately
