Removal of NOISE and MACRO BLOCKS from HVX and DVX footage solved!!!!!!!

[Spartacus]

Color has a plug in that removes noise. That program is so powerful!

Nattress offers a noise removal plug in for Color - if I could only get myself to learning color now:evil:

I´d also really like to do as much in FCP as possible, considering rendertimes for noiseremoval I can cleary see the advantage of using a different programm for this part of the job though...

I've been using Neat Video for Premiere for a little over a year now and swear by it.

I know some AE filters will also work in FCP. Maybe this is the case here?

Hi, any plans for a Final Cut version of Neat Video?

Yes, please watch our website in the coming days.

Kind regards,
Vlad

I've found that an xvid codec with the right settings tweaked produces the same result.

I've been using the Virtual Dub version for the last couple of years. I've been preachin about it everywhere I go. It's definitely a miracle worker.

I'm away from my editing computer for a few days. Can somebody please test it out and tell us if the render times have improved any?

I downloaded the demo for FCP and applied it to some noisy footage and the results are AMAZING!!
You can watch it on Vimeo, but you'll have to download it to notice any difference
http://vimeo.com/4165102 ~6.5MB

[DM_rider]

Hmm, Vimeo QT download isn't working. Just get a white screen, no download starts.

[AdamT]

Is there any reason to think this new FCP version won't work exactly as well as the other versions (AE, etc.)?

Ok...I got the same thing. Not sure why that happened, but I added it to my Website. You can download it here:
