Remote shutter for GH2...

Hi guys!

Is there a way for using some remote shutter with GH2?

I mean in lots of cameras there is a remote control with REC button on it - is there such a thing for GH2?

Where to buy it and does it work for video mode?

Bought this RW-221 Wireless Shutter Remote Panasonic GH2 and it works great for stills or video - batteries last a long time too. I'm sure there are less expensive wired controllers, but for $23 the flexibility of having wireless is pretty nice. And it works well at a large distance. I'm happy with it.

It does work with video mode, and the timer remote is the best way to set up time lapse shots (if you're into that sort of thing).

Thanx tflack but WHERE YOU INSERT this baby into GH2 body? I don't see any apropriate input "hole" in my GH2!

Does it ships with apropriate wires (to plug into GH2) or you have to custom made them youreslf?

Everything you need is included. As stone indicated it goes into the mic/remote input on upper-left behind a small door.
