This is not new, remote focus has been around for a while. However the ability to set focus points would be nice. If you have electronic lenses or a remote focus puller the ability to set focus points would be pretty handy. For instance I could set focus point 1 and then focus point 2 and a rate for change. So if I go from point 1 to point 2 it will happen at a certain rate of change. In other words an automated focus puller.
